RACHEL’S STORY
When Rachel Rykal was diagnosed with the rare Ehlers-Danlos
Syndrome (EDS), she found herself facing a life of physical pain and heavily modified activity. Her proposed existence was not
commensurate to quality of life she was accustomed to and that
everyone deserves.
With no cure for EDS, and very limited traditional Western
treatments, Rachel was left with a choice: resign to a life of physical and mental discomfort, or explore alternative treatments that would take her from a place of suffering and into one of wellness.
